If you are a law student, we offer reduced dues of $25. Please fill out the by pdf application and email it to us, along with a copy of your student ID.

If you are a retired attorney, we offer reduced dues of $125. Please fill out the by pdf application and email it back to us.

The Application Process

NACA is a community of peers who are dedicated to consumer law. Membership applications are peer vetted to ensure that all conversations take place and information is shared within a safe space.

Once your application has been submitted, it will be sent to your state chair for approval. This process usually takes between two and three weeks, depending on the volume of applications at that time. Once your application has been approved, we will activate your membership so that you will have access to NACA’s benefits.

When you submit your application, we will collect your payment information at that time, but your card will not be charged until your application has been approved. In the event that you withdraw your application or your application is not accepted, we will delete the encrypted payment information and no charge will be made to your card.

Member Scholarships

Individuals applying for membership or existing members preparing to renew can apply for a scholarship to cover a portion of your dues. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted. If you were offered a scholarship for the previous membership year, you are not eligible to apply. If you are awarded a scholarship and accept, we ask that you volunteer with us during the next year.

Please submit the membership application in tandem with the scholarship. We will not process payment at that time, and we will adjust the amount to account for the scholarship after your application is approved.
