Speakers

Nancy L. Thompson is an attorney in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated with honors from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1984 and has proudly helped consumers, family farmers, and small businesses get out of debt ever since. Nancy also works part-time as a staff attorney for Iowa Legal Aid and is the Iowa State Chair for the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. She’s defended twenty-four NCSLT cases thus far and is hoping for many more because of how fun they can be.

Brian Ellsworth is a consumer attorney in South Carolina. He is a graduate of Marquette University and the University of St. Thomas-School of Law. His practice focuses on auto fraud, student loans, and unfair debt collection tactics. Brian has successfully defended over thirty NCSLT cases totaling almost $1 million.
