We realize that your experience has likely been difficult and you may not want to retell your story, but by sharing your story you will help us drive national and local debates, and enhance our conversations with policymakers.

How We Will Use Your Story

Given the volume of stories we receive and the need to prioritize issues, we may not be able to use your story right away. We also may be in touch to gather further details from you. NACA may share your story with relevant lawmakers and government agencies. If you do not wish for us to share your story, please let us know in your comments describing your experience.

If you need legal assistance

We encourage you to look for a consumer attorney in your area by searching our Find an Attorney directory.

You can also submit complaints to relevant government agencies, such as your state’s attorney general, and federal agencies, including the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission.
