Auto leasing continues to be a popular option for consumers. While leasing may be a good option for consumers under certain circumstances, entering into a lease transaction with unlawful disclosures of its terms never makes sense. Thankfully, the Consumer Leasing Act provides some federal protection for consumers nationwide. This webinar is geared to attorneys of all levels interested in consumer leasing fraud.

What You Will Learn

  • How to identify potential claims under the federal Consumer Leasing Act and Regulation M
  • How to understand the interplay of the Consumer Leasing Act and Regulation M with related state laws
  • How to determine when to assert any federal claims on a class wide or on an individual basis

Mark Schweikert practices consumer law at Weil Snyder Schweikert & Ravindran in Miami, Florida. As a former Big Law defense lawyer and law clerk to three federal judges, he brings a unique and well-rounded perspective to his cases.
