Do you want to improve discovery in your fair credit reporting cases? NACA is offering a webinar series detailing the document discovery in Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) cases. Each webinar will focus on a different credit reporting agency (CRA).

In each webinar, you will learn about the documents and information you need to prepare a settlement demand, conduct the FRCP 30(b)(6) deposition, and take your case through summary judgment and trial.

The first webinar of the series on February 13 will focus on documents from Equifax; the second webinar on February 28  will focus on documents from TranUnion; and the third webinar on March 14 will focus on documents from Experian.

What You Will Learn

  • What are the key documents to request?
  • How do you interpret the documents?
  • How do you use these records to evaluate your case, conduct depositions, and litigate through motions and trial?

Speakers

Robert S. Sola is the founding member of Robert S. Sola, P.C., a consumer law firm based in Portland, Oregon. He has been handling FCRA cases since 1996. He represents consumers across the country and has litigated FCRA cases in states as co-counsel with many NACA members. Mr. Sola has obtained jury verdicts against all three major credit reporting agencies. In 2002, he was lead counsel in Thomas v. Trans Union and in 2007, he was co-counsel in Williams v. Equifax, which both resulted in large judgments. Mr. Sola was named Trial Lawyer of the Year in 2003 by the National Association of Consumer Advocates.
