From inaccurate credit reporting to abusive debt collection and illegal robocalls and beyond, consumers face potential harms in every transaction. As part of NACA’s core mission, we are engaged in working towards a safer and fairer marketplace for every consumer in any way we can.

NACA has urged lawmakers to bolster and protect the federal consumer protection agencies, advocated for increased funding for legal services organizations, which represent low-income consumers, fought against regulations that prioritized industry interests over consumers, published research on consumer harms in the auto sales market, and much more. Wherever consumer protection is threatened or can be strengthened, NACA is prepared to do its part.
