NACA is actively engaged in promoting a fair and open marketplace that protects the rights of consumers, particularly those of modest means. In addition to the practice-specific legislative work NACA takes on, we are particularly focused on:

  • working to eliminate forced arbitration clauses from consumer contracts;
  • addressing the need to change the current structure around attorney fee tax policy; and
  • partnering with like-minded organizations to increase our leverage and bring additional resources to bear on legislative and government regulatory bodies.

Members are encouraged to participate in our legislative activities by taking action or volunteering to serve on one of the advocacy-related committees.
