NACA Joins Letter to Illinois Supreme Court Calling for Action on Bank Account Freezes

NACA joined organizational partners on a letter to the Illinois Supreme Court urging the Court to provide relief to consumers who have been subject to asset freezes. Limited court activities during the COVID-19 pandemic have left some consumers with no way of lifting the freezes or receiving exemptions.A copy of the proposed court order is available here.
