How NACA Membership Benefits Legal Services

NACA serves the entire consumer law community. Each segment of that community, including legal services members, have their own specific needs and challenges. We continue to create, adapt, and develop new and existing membership benefits and educational products to support legal services attorneys and their clients. Some of the benefits are listed below.

Legal Services Organizational Memberships

The organizational membership is only available to legal aid organizations. For $500, a legal aid organization can have up to five attorneys included in membership, and more members can be added at the discounted rate of $100 per person. Also included in organizational membership are complimentary webinars.

Special Pricing on Educational Products

NACA not only offers significant discounts on educational opportunities to all of our members, but legal services members receive a special reduced cost on top of the member discount. We want every NACA community member to have access to the training they need. We back this up with a generous scholarship program for NACA legal services members. For more information, contact us.

Products Developed Specifically for Legal Services

We offer on-demand webinars and a professional development package on topics for legal service members to increase knowledge and skills. New individual legal services members receive access to our Legal Services Professional Development Package as part of the membership.

Community

Find the information and expertise you need on a variety of topics on the NACA listservs, including one dedicated to legal services. Access the NACA Member Directory to connect with others in the field who can help you best serve your clients.

Consumer Law Information and Practice Resources

NACA provides litigation support, expertise, and advice from the most eminent advocates in our field. Our members are supported by the association and by each other.

In terms of key information, NACA sends our members a weekly aggregated consumer law-related news by email. We also have an online resource library of more than 3,000 documents at your disposal.

NACA Public Private Partnership Project

The Private Public Partnership (P3) Project matches NACA’s legal aid members with NACA’s private attorney members in order to build co-counseling relationships. The P3 project will be widened beyond the pilot to any NACA member who wishes to participate.

Professional Development

We offer opportunities to present, to lead, and to raise your visibility in the field. Volunteer in a variety of positions. Present a webinar. The possibilities are endless.
