Public Interest Groups Send Letter to Congress Opposing Bill to Strip DC AG of Independence

NACA joined a coalition of 29 public interest groups on a letter to Congress strongly opposing H.R. 5179, the District of Columbia Attorney General Appointment Reform Act, which would replace D.C.’s independently elected Attorney General with a presidential appointee.
