NACA testified before the Maryland Senate Finance Committee in support of HB-103, a bill that would ban contract provisions that waive consumer remedies, specifically statutory and punitive damages. Additionally, the bill would amend a 2025 law that prohibits contract provisions that shorten the statute of limitations by removing certain industry exemptions.
