With thanks to the 2024 Spring Training Lead Sponsor, Consumer Attorneys!

Why Attend
Spring Training

April 11–14, 2024
Omni Hotel at Centennial Park, Atlanta, Georgia

The Spring Training, one in the NCLC/NACA Consumer Law Education Event (CLEE) series, combines the intimacy of a subject matter-focused conference with the networking and resource opportunities of a large conference. Each year, it will be a gathering of the consumer law community. Every day of the conference there will be opportunities to learn and to participate in facilitated networking opportunities to help build your relationships with and grow your network of fellow consumer attorneys.

April 11-12, attendees will experience in-depth learning in three tracks: FCRA, FDCPA and Solar Fraud through interactive sessions that allow you to engage with your peers. With three tracks, you can move between them to follow your interest. The sessions not only focus on teaching subject matter knowledge, but also on teaching practical skills to help you become a stronger lawyer. April 11 will also feature the Case Consultation Clinic, where you can gain one-on-one advice with an experienced practitioner to help address any challenges you are having with your case.

April 13-14, attendees can choose between an intermediate-level Class Action Workshop, a Depositions Workshop, and an Auto Practicum. These can be registered for separate from or together with the FCRA, FDCPA, and Solar Fraud tracks from the first two days of the conference.

Eligibility

The Spring Training is open to all NACA members and qualified nonmembers, including legal aid, government, and nonprofit attorneys, among others. Registrations from nonmembers and/or legal aid will be vetted to ensure that the registrant does not advocate for lenders, creditors, dealers, businesses, or parties whose interests may be antagonistic to consumers. NACA and NCLC reserves the right to refuse or cancel all ineligible registrations at any time and shall not be held accountable for any outside fees associated with cancellation. If you are a non-NACA member private practice attorney and attending the conference for the first time, please allow fifteen business days after you submit your registration to allow for verification of your certification. Do NOT make your travel plans until your registration has been confirmed. If you have questions about this please email [email protected]. (Non-attorneys who wish to attend should email NCLC as well at [email protected] with information about your occupation and interest in attending the conference).

Scholarships

A limited number of scholarships are available for NACA members and JAG attorneys. For more information and to apply, click here. Please direct any questions to [email protected].

In addition, 50% registration rate discounts for 'Next Generation' private attorneys (those with less than five years of experience) and all Legal Aid attorneys are guaranteed through NCLC's Campaign for the Future, and underwritten in whole or in part by its generous supporters. This scholarship opportunity automatically lowers the cost of attendance when registering for the main conference.

If you would like to donate to the scholarship fund, you have an opportunity during registration.

Cancellations, Refunds, and Changes to Registration

Refunds are only available in cases of personal or family emergencies. All cancellations, other than due to COVID-19, will be charged a cancellation fee of $75 until March 8. After March 8, the cancellation fee will be $150. Registrations can be transferred at no cost to another NACA member. Please email [email protected] for more information.
