Taskforce: Awards Selection
Reports to: Board of Directors
This year, at our first in-person Spring Training, we will resume the NACA awards that are presented outstanding members of the community. The awards will include Consumer Attorney of the Year Consumer Advocate of the Year. The Awards Selection Taskforce will review submissions and make recommendations to the board on who should receive the 2022 awards.
Major Functions and Responsibilities
- Review submissions and provide a ranking for each application.
- Participate in taskforce conference call(s).
- Come to consensus with other reviewers on a slate to present to the Board.
The amount of time will vary depending on the number of submissions received. But it is likely that the taskforce will be able to complete their work in approximately five to six hours total. We estimate one or two hours to review applications, one or two hours for conference calls to discuss, and possibly additional brief discussion via email.
Please email us if you are interested, no later than Wednesday, February 16.
