NACA Brings Case Against RentGrow Over Inaccurate Tenant Screening Reports

NACA, represented by the Electronic Privacy Information Center and Richman Law & Policy, filed suit in D.C. Superior Court against RentGrow, a tenant screening service provider, for providing inaccurate reports to landlords participating in D.C.’s Housing Choice Voucher Program. The suit was brought under the District of Columbia Consumer Protection Procedures Act which allows enforcement by nonprofits when consumers have been harmed.
