Eligibility

Spring Training is open to all NACA members and qualified nonmembers, including legal aid, government, nonprofit attorneys, and expert witnesses, among others. Registrations from nonmembers will be vetted to ensure that the registrant does not advocate for lenders, creditors, dealers, businesses, or parties whose interests may be antagonistic to consumers. NACA and NCLC reserves the right to refuse or cancel all ineligible registrations at any time and shall not be held accountable for any outside fees associated with cancellation. If you are a non-NACA member private practice attorney and attending the conference for the first time, please allow at least fifteen (15) business days after you submit your registration to allow for verification of your certification. Do NOT make your travel plans until your registration has been confirmed. If you have questions about this please email [email protected]. (Non-attorneys who wish to attend should email NACA as well at [email protected] with information about your occupation and interest in attending the conference).

Scholarships and Financial Assistance

Support is available for NACA members, and military and JAG attorneys to attend session tracks at Spring Training.

NACA members, military and JAG attorneys should send a brief summary of your role serving consumers and how you would apply the training to your work to [email protected] to receive funding.

In addition, 50% registration rate discounts for all Legal Aid attorneys and private attorneys with less than five years of experience (the “Next Generation” of consumer champions) are guaranteed through NCLC’s Campaign for the Future, and provided by its generous supporters, cy pres awards, the CapitalOne Impact Initiative, and individual donors who make scholarship fund donations. This scholarship opportunity automatically lowers the cost of attendance when registering for the conference.

If you would like to donate to the scholarship fund, you will have an opportunity during registration.

Press and Recording Policy

Conference proceedings are off the record and for background only. Personal electronic recording of sessions is prohibited. For press inquiries, please contact Michelle Deakin at [email protected].

Code of Conduct and Anti-Harassment Policy

NCLC and NACA are committed to a safe conference environment for everyone that emphasizes mutual respect and inclusion for all attendees. We expect all attendees to follow our Code of Conduct and Anti-Harassment Policy, which provides a process for reporting and investigation. Information will be available in the conference app and in follow-up communication to registrants.

Cancellations, Refunds, and Changes to Registration

Refunds are only available in cases of personal or family emergencies. All cancellations will be charged a cancellation fee of $75 until March 20th, 2026. After March 20th the cancellation fee will be $150 and only available in cases of personal or family emergencies. Registrations can be transferred at no cost to another NACA member and/or an eligible participant. Please email [email protected] for more information.
